Zelda-Like Puzzle Crawling in ‘Dungeons of Dreadrock 2’ Coming to Switch This Month

The exquisite top-down dungeon crawler of 2022, Dreadrock Dungeonsis making a sequel. Dreadrock Dungeons 2 – Secret of the Dead King It arrives on the Switch eShop on: 28 November and it looks just as delicious as its predecessor.

This picks up exactly where the previous puzzle left off. This time, you’ll swap out the small sword and green cap (does that ring a bell?) of the hero of the first game for the staff of a priestess of the Order of the Flame. Carrying your magical powers with you, you’ll need to journey through 100 new dungeon-crawling levels and solve little Zelda-like puzzles along the way.

Developer Christoph Minnameier cites genre classics such as: Dungeon Master And Eye of the Beholder Top-down perspective and beautiful pixel art as points of inspiration reminded us: Minish Hat ours review your first game. This isn’t directly a Hylian adventure, but the series’ dungeon vibes are present in the trailer above, albeit with grid-based movement.
