Grady Judd: Florida man ‘should have hidden his cocaine’ before calling deputies to report break-in and battery

FROST RESISTANT, Fla.A. Florida man and a teenager were arrested following a robbery and assault incident in Frostproof.

Accordingly Polk County Sheriff Grady JuddA group of teenagers were abusing and harassing 54-year-old Everett Brown.

He added that recently a 14-year-old boy kicked in Brown’s door and hit him with a red broom handle.

“This is called burglary and battery,” Judd shared. “Crimes.”

Brown called the sheriff’s office and deputies went out to investigate.

As deputies investigated and processed the scene, they clearly saw Brown’s cocaine and paraphernalia in the home, Judd said.

“Everett forgot to hide his cocaine before he had us investigate the crime, so he went to jail for possession of cocaine and paraphernalia,” Judd explained. “I told you, you can’t make up for this.”

Judd added that the 14-year-old boy admitted to breaking into Brown’s home and hitting him. He was charged with theft and battery.
