Masseuse wanted for 2020 rape returns to Nashville after arrest in Huntsville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A former masseuse was extradited to Nashville on Thursday after being arrested in Huntsville. He was wanted for raping a woman during a massage in 2020, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

MNPD said 64-year-old Xiuwen Li was indicted by a grand jury on three counts of rape after he was determined to be the masseuse who reportedly “inappropriately touched” a woman in October 2020.

The incident occurred at Wellness Reflexology at Green Hills Mall, but the business was closed within two months following the alleged rape. Police said this made it difficult to locate Li because his only known local address was the Opry Mills Mall.

“Li was arrested this afternoon on outstanding indictments and is currently jailed on $50,000 bail,” MNPD said.
