MK Party’s Ndhlela criticizes withdrawal of SABC Bill – SABC News

MK Party MP Nhlamulo Ndhlela has described Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies Solly Malatsi as a willing beaver due to his style of working. suddenly the SABC withdrew the Bill.

He also criticized the Minister for his board appointments at the State Information Technology Agency SITA.

Ndhlela spoke last night during the debate on the Budget Review and Recommendations Report (BRR) for the Ministry and its departments.

The BRR Report was submitted to the Turkish Grand National Assembly for final approval, after which the MK Party rejected the report.

Ndhlela says: “The Department of Communications and Digital Technologies, led by Minister Malatsi, an eager beaver, weaver bird, has performed poorly. I describe the Minister as an eager beaver for having abruptly withdrawn the SABC Bill without giving justification to the portfolio committee, let alone to the public. “The SITA board is in disarray and the Minister has made this situation worse by bringing back on board and purchasing managers who were involved in a fraud report of over R1.2 billion.”

“Post offices continue to remain under business bailout without any growth or solid revenue generation strategy, let alone thousands of redundancies in the current dire economic climate,” adds Ndhlela.
