Inspired by the stunning IMAX experience, the actor considered releasing his upcoming Christmas movie Red One in the same format. Ahead of the film’s release, the actor talked about how watching Oppenheimer forced him to shoot Red One halfway through in IMAX. Netizens were quite surprised when the actor shared his ambitious perspective and called him a “dreamer” for comparing the movies.

In the statement made before the release of Red One, the following statements were made: “I was in the middle of shooting Red One, I had the opportunity to watch Oppenheimer and I watched it in the IMAX theater where Christopher Nolan watches and shows his films. I even said ‘Chris’ to the seat “Let me sit too.” So I sat where Chris was sitting and watched Oppenheimer, it was great.” He added that while watching the movie, he thought it would change the rules of the game if they used the same technology for Red One. He also messaged the director about the same. . “We had a great conversation afterwards about how great everything was going to be.”

But not everyone was thrilled with Dwayne Johnson’s approach. The story revolves around the North Pole, where everything is thrown into turmoil after the kidnapping of Santa Claus, also known as St. Nicholas of Myra or the Red One. To save Christmas, Dwayne Johnson’s character Callum Drift, the North Pole’s Chief of Security, is given the responsibility of bringing Santa Claus back. Red One was released in US theaters on November 15.
