Star India batsman Virat Kohli was dismissed cheaply during the team’s match simulation practice at the WACA Ground in Perth on Friday (November 15). Remarkably, the entire squad took part in an intrasquad match simulation following three days of training sessions in Perth. .

Meanwhile, apart from Kohli, Yashasvi Jaiswal looked determined on the field, scoring 58*. Batting for the second time, Gill posted an unbeaten 42*.

India finished the match simulation at 339/8 in the match simulation which lasted 75 overs. The match simulation will continue over the next few days as India ramps up preparations for the first Test. India needs to win the series 4-1 to qualify for the WTC final alone and will therefore want to start the first test strongly.
