Kirinyaga: Kirinyaga Assembly Member Lucy Njeri Mwaniki has shared that life will never be the same again after losing her beloved daughter Seth Nyakio Njeri.

Njeri reacted after the incident Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) shared new developments in the investigation of the heinous murder of a college girl.

“This pain is too much… my life will never be the same again. God help me. In the meantime, let’s be careful. This is the culprit,” he said.

According to DCI, the young man seen in the photo they shared was the prime suspect of Seth’s murder.

“Following the heinous murder, the suspect identified as Ken Kimathi Gichunuku alias Sultan went into hiding and detectives are on his trail,” DCI said.

Why does DCI consider Sultan dangerous?

In a revealing Facebook post, police added: “Gichunuku has a criminal record of threats to kill, as evidenced in a case dated September 25, 2024, and detectives consider him dangerous to anyone who might expose him.”

DCI asked the public to contact them if they see the culprit.

“Call our free helpline on 0800 722 203 to report anonymously at any time or report to any police station near you,” police said.
