Train services resumed in Quetta after four days

– Yes. Train services in Quetta have been resumed after being suspended for four days following the deadly blast.

Following the deadly blast, Pakistan Railways (PR) announced on 10 November that the Quetta railway station would remain out of service from 11 November to 14 November.

According to Pakistan Railways CEO Aamir Baloch, train services from Quetta to other parts of Pakistan have been resumed following security investigation.

Baloch said that Jaffar Express left Quetta for its destination today morning, while Bolan Mail will also leave at the scheduled time.

At least 26 people, including women and children, and more than 40 people were injured in the explosion at Quetta Railways on Saturday, November 9.

Narrating the deadly railway station bombing incident in Quetta, Commissioner Quetta Hamza Shafqaat said that the explosion took place at 8.25 am, killing 26 people and injuring more than 40 people.

Police said the explosion occurred when there were many passengers at the railway station during the departure of the Jaffar Express.

Railway officials said two trains, Chaman Passenger and Jaffar Express, are scheduled to operate from Quetta to Chaman and Peshawar respectively. Passengers of both trains were on the platform when the explosion occurred.
