Suspect arrested in OKC pleads not guilty in Election Day terrorist attack plot

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Man arrested for conspiracy to conduct sting operation in Oklahoma Election Day terrorist attack He pleaded not guilty Thursday.

Nasser Ahmed TawhediA lawsuit was filed against the 27-year-old on November 6 on three charges:

• Conspiracy to provide material support and resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization
• Trying to provide financial support and resources to a foreign terrorist organization
• Knowingly receiving, conspiring to receive, and attempting to receive firearms and ammunition to be used in the commission of a felony or federal terrorism offense.

Tevhedi will remain in prison until the jury’s decision, which will begin on Monday, January 13.
