FORT WORTH, Texas (KAUZ) – The second week of the Anthony Patterson trial continues Friday, November 15, at the Tim Curry Criminal Justice Center in Fort Worth.

Final statements continue before closing arguments

The first witness called to the stand Friday morning was Darrell Coleman, a former employee of Patterson Auto Group. Coleman testified in 2020 that Patterson was part of a group that presented checks to Patsy’s House.

He was asked if Patterson told him at the time that he was under investigation and needed to be around the children. Patterson did not disclose that information, Coleman said.

On Thursday, Nov. 14, Judge Meredith Kennedy said she plans to present the charges to the jury by Monday so deliberations can begin. Closing arguments from both sides will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday.
