28-year-old Kuwaiti man arrested for allegedly stabbing his mother and attacking his brother

Dubai: A 28-year-old Kuwaiti man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his mother to death and seriously wounding his 10-year-old brother in a shocking attack that left the nation in disbelief.

Authorities announced that the suspect caught at the scene had a previous criminal record. The reason behind the attack remains unclear.

Police responded to an emergency call in the Sabah Al-Salem district and found that the 48-year-old mother was dead at the scene and the young child was seriously injured. Officials confirmed that the child was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

While the mother’s body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute, an investigation was launched into the incident. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet released further details.
