Man arrested for theft – The Hindu

Hyderabad Kalapathar police arrested a man involved in the theft, which was reported on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.

Police seized the stolen gold jewelery as well as the rickshaw used in the crime.

Police said Muhammad Noorullah Hussain, 25, broke into a house in Chandulal Baradari. “According to the complaint filed on Thursday, the theft occurred some time after he and his family were asleep. When they woke up, they found three almirahs broken, jewellery, money and a mobile phone missing,” police said.

A case was registered and Noorullah Hussain was nabbed on Friday. During interrogation, Hüseyin allegedly confessed to the crime. The investigation also revealed that Hussain was previously involved in similar house burglary cases registered at Attapur and Mailardevpally police stations.
