4-year-old child and woman taken to hospital after being hit by car in Ayr

The child and woman who were hit by the car were treated in hospital.

Emergency crews rushed to Whitletts Road in Ayr after a vehicle and two pedestrians collided at around 4.40pm on Friday, November 15.

The 4-year-old child and the 34-year-old woman were taken to the hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 4.40pm on Friday 15 November 2024 officers were called to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrians.

“A four-year-old child and a 34-year-old woman were taken to hospital for treatment.”
