What the Saints Need to Do to Win Against the Browns

As the Saints look ahead to Sunday, the question is whether New Orleans will temporarily lift interim head coach Darren Rizzi after his debut. Does it do these? energy Is it a continuation of last week or did he fall short against the Browns? The team faces an interesting task for Week 11, and a win would help them enter their bye week on a high note. Here’s what needs to happen for the Saints to improve to 4-7.

Alvin Kamara looks to help Saints get another victory

Solving Nick Chubb

Nick Chubb hasn’t been a dominant impact since returning from injury, and the last thing the Saints need is for him to rush against their defense. Both Bijan Robinson (20-116) and Tyler Allgeier (11-59) helped put up 181 yards on a 5-yard/carry average last week, and the New Orleans defense allowed 7 big plays of 20 yards or more on the ground. Falcons. Only one of these occurred as a result of an emergency initiative. There has been some simplification on defense led by Joe Woods, but obviously it needs some more polishing.

Check out Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston’s debut as the Browns’ starter was one to remember because he was a big reason why they eliminated the Baltimore Ravens. However, the following week against the Chargers, he was sacked 6 times and threw 3 picks. He completed 26-of-46 for 235 yards and a TD to go along with the turnovers. Many Saints players know Winston and have great respect for him. But they need to make his day as scary as possible.

Encore Artists Step Up to the Plate

The Saints offense was boosted by some unlikely and unlikely heroes this past Sunday, with the receivers being one of the biggest question marks entering the game. Marquez Valdes-Scantling only had three catches, but they were huge. Kevin Austin Jr. only had a few catches, but they were still important to help move the chains and show what patience, hard work and dedication can get you. Alvin Kamara is the focal point of the team’s offense, and getting their main man in the middle back this weekend in Erik McCoy creates another prominent ground-and-pound attack for New Orleans.

Drive the Superdome Energy

It was a bit shocking to see the attendance at the Superdome. Whether it was seeing Alvin Kamara break a record or fans celebrating a new era of Saints football, they impressed and forced plenty of advance penalties last Sunday. New Orleans plays its second of three straight games, splitting things up during the bye week before playing the Rams. I hope they continue to bring energy and energize the team.
