CCTV DVR Stolen in Rewa Store Theft: Thieves Escape with Vital Evidence | Bhopal News

Bhopal: Thieves targeted a car decoration shop in Rewa, not only stealing goods but also taking away the CCTV digital video recorder (DVR) to protect their identity.
The theft occurred at: Naved Siddiquiat his shop in Transport Nagar on the night between Friday and Saturday.
According to Civil Line police, the thieves broke into the store by climbing onto the roof using ropes, broke in and fled with several items, including a DVR that recorded footage from the store’s security cameras.
A lawsuit was filed regarding the incident and the police launched a detailed investigation. Authorities are reviewing footage from surrounding security cameras to identify the suspects.
Sources said the shop owner has installed CCTV for security purposes and monitors his store through a mobile app. When he opened the application on Saturday morning, he noticed that the cameras were offline, which aroused suspicion.
He immediately sent an employee to check the store where the theft was confirmed.
