Scores from the ninth week of the BBC dance competition

Definitely Come Dance It was the series’ most competitive week yet, with the final eight pairs performing. Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec maintained his place at the top of the leaderboard for the third week in a row with his Paso Dobles. Hadland and Vito Coppola, who received 39 points for their performance, joined them at the top of the leaderboard.

Right behind them was comedian Chris McCausland, who earned the highest score in the series with Paul Anka’s American Smooth to “Jump,” which moved his professional partner Dianne Buswell to tears of joy.

It was a week of personal bests as Montell Douglas and partner Johannes Radebe achieved the highest Salsa score of the series after being awarded 35 points for their performance of Kylie Minogue’s “Don’t Leave Me This Way”.

At the other end of the scale was Pete Wicks, who scored 27 points for his Cha Cha song from Right Said Fred’s “I’m Too Sexy”.

The reality star was praised for isolating her upper body. But her “fun” hip movement It made the judges burst into laughter.
