Wanted suspect was found with drugs and weapons in the vehicle

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Walton County authorities say a man wanted on felony charges was pulled over and arrested.

They reported Thursday morning that radar captured a pickup truck going 80 mph on the Clyde B. Wells Bridge on Highway 331 S. When the deputy operating the radar pulled the truck over, he reportedly discovered that the driver was Justin. K. Miles, 39, had an active felony arrest warrant from the DeFuniak Springs Police Department for weapons charges.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office released a report saying that while searching the pickup, deputies found five firearms, including one in Miles’ waistband, two small bags of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Miles was taken into custody and taken to the Walton County Jail and charged with possession of a modified firearm, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and five counts of second-degree criminal use of a weapon, authorities said.
