Driver in Fatal Fort McMurray Crash Requested Medical Removal

We’re learning more about the tragic crash in Fort McMurray that killed a Clareville woman.

New information obtained by The Canadian Press shows that the driver, 28-year-old Roger Sierra of Calgary, was allegedly under a medical driving suspension at the time.

The GoFundMe account, which is raising money for funeral expenses, describes Emily as having a “heart of pure gold” and being “adored” by her family and friends.

This account has since raised over $75,000.

The defendant will appear in court on December 4.
