Charli XCX recently criticized Martha Stewart, calling her a “brat.” Saturday Night Live monologue opens.

“A lot of people have asked me what a brat is, and to be honest, it’s just an attitude, an aura,” said Martha, who falsely claimed that a journalist covering the singer’s legal proceedings had died.

Charlie said jokingly. “For example, the new Martha Stewart documentary, when Martha gets angry about an old magazine article and says she’s glad the journalist who wrote it is dead, this brat.”

“Then last Friday, the same journalist responded and said, ‘Hey, ‘I’m alive’; that’s extremely brat,” the 32-year-old actor said.

During the show, Charlie also shared that there would be no problem if SNL viewers didn’t recognize his album. Brat.
