Tragedy as man in his 40s was struck and killed by 2 cars as he walked along the A21 after his van crashed into a barrier – The Sun

The victim collided with the central reservation on the coastal road shortly after 6pm.

Police Details of the man have not yet been released but it has been confirmed that his relatives have been notified.

Authorities asked any witnesses who saw the conflict to contact them immediately.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “The man was reportedly struck by a car and van after exiting his own vehicle following the collision.

“Police were called to the shoreline of the A21 motorway shortly after 18:00 yesterday/Saturday.

“The victim, aged in his 40s, was driving a white Isuzu pickup truck and trailer and had collided with the central reservation a short distance before the incident.

“He was reportedly struck by a gray Vauxhall Vivaro and a gray Skoda Kodiaq after exiting the Isuzu and traveling on foot.

“In addition to the officers, medical teams also arrived at the scene and the man died at the scene. His relatives were informed.

“Serious Collision by City Police Investigation The unit (SCIU) is carrying out investigations and officers are appealing for anyone who saw what happened or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
