Man killed after double stabbing in city center identified

Toronto police have identified a man who was fatally stabbed at an apartment near Fort York on Thursday.

He is Sean Collins, 34, of Toronto.

Around 12:40 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to a stabbing call in the area of ​​Fort York Boulevard and Dan Leckie Way.

Police said they received a report that two men were arguing. They said both men stabbed each other.

While both were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, Collins was pronounced dead.

The other man remains in a critical condition, while Det-Sgt remains in hospital. Brandon Price said at a press conference Thursday morning.

A 33-year-old Toronto man has been charged with second-degree murder and remains hospitalized, police said.

Police said these people knew each other.
