Wolves nearing injury return

The Austrian striker has suffered two ACL injuries since joining Wolves in 2022; The most recent one occurred in February while he was on loan at German club Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kalajdzic has suffered this serious injury three times throughout his playing career, but is approaching training again with Wolves after months of rehabilitation following surgery.

Despite this, O’Neil called for caution and said the 27-year-old player would need time.

“Sasa is doing very well on the grass and has been there for a while,” O’Neil said.

“He’s probably a few weeks away from rejoining the group.”
