Ray J’s controversial interview aired despite threats

Pastor Jamal Bryant The beleaguered entertainer aired the interview with Ray J, despite Ray’s apparent threats that there would be consequences.

According to Bryant, Pastor of New Dawn Missionary Baptist Church Ray J shows up in suburban Atlanta “Jamal Bryant Podcast: Let’s Be Open” podcast. On the platform, the two discussed a number of sensitive topics, including her suicide attempt and the porn videos of Kim Kardashian, who turned her entire family into household names and multimillionaires.

There were other issues the duo brought up; Ray made it absolutely clear that he didn’t want the public to know, so he issued an unmistakable statement. Threat to Bryant.

“Hey, I have nothing but love for Pastor Bryant. Shout out to Jamal Bryant. But if you all play that interview, someone will be kidnapped from the podium. Don’t play the interview, it’s not clean, it’s out of bounds. Me and Pastor Bryant need to talk because the way I was treated was dirty and illegal,” Ray J warned Bryant.

“I’m telling you right now that we need to figure this out because if we don’t there will be a problem,” Ray added.

Shocked, Bryant responded to Ray’s warnings on his IG page.

“Waking up to false threats and false accusations directed at me was both surprising and disheartening,” Bryant wrote on his Instagram page. “As part of our commitment to honest dialogue, we ensured that certain comments that could have potential legal consequences were removed from the interview in order to protect the best interests of a beloved brother.”

“We are normally a live-to-tape production that does no editing,” he added. “However, in the spirit of brotherhood, it was left out of agreement that no further edits would be made as ‘Jamal Bryant Podcast: Let’s Be Open’ strives to be serious and transparent in each episode.”

A regretful Ray J also returned to his IG page to apologize to Bryant for his words.

“I apologize to you and the entire church community! “What I did may have been unforgivable, but I still want you to know that I’m sorry and what I did was not right,” he said.

Ray J says he had several suicidal thoughts

After the requested material was removed from the interview, Bryant released the podcast. Ray opened up about how emotionally and mentally devastating the release of Kardashian’s sex tape was for him.

“I was hanging from the roof of the hotel in Cancun. “I got off the roof, went to the edge of the roof and just lay there,” he said. “I climbed, lay down, slept and said, ‘If I fall, it was meant to be.'”

“I slept for about two and a half hours, and then the hotel caught up with me, and then we went through all this stuff, and then I had to take these tests, too. But at that moment it was like, ‘You want to make your family proud, but you’re living a lie.'”
