UFC’s Dana White hurls haymakers at traditional media and politicians: ‘No one trusts them’

Dana White had fiery words for the media and politicians who follow him UFC309He attended a meeting Saturday night with President-elect Donald Trump and some cabinet nominees.

White declared traditional media is “dead” and has the same problem as politicians these days: lack of trust.

“I’ve had a philosophy over the last five years that traditional media is dead and doesn’t have the impact it used to have,” he said. MMA Fighting. “The two most hated people in this world are the media and politicians. Nobody trusts them. Nobody believes them.

“The real influence right now is on these kids on the internet. They’re called influencers. So I’ve been building relationships with these people for the last four or five years. And this election was won on the internet.”

“The way the Power Slap was built was the way this election was won. The Hispanic vote was incredibly strong, the black male vote and young people.”

White had Trump’s back in his campaigns in 2016, 2020 and 2024. He spoke at the Republican National Convention.

Trump has appeared in many UFC events over the years. He received thunderous applause from the crowd at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.
