Man who stabbed two people in Grimes County was arrested in Corpus Christi

One person wanted in connection with double stabbing Grimes County He was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning Corpus ChristiOfficials confirm he was more than 150 miles away

Authorities identified the suspect as 35-year-old Elpidio DeLeon Gonzalez, also known as “Leo,” who was captured following the violent incident.

Texas Department of Public Safety After an hours-long manhunt, we located Gonzalez early Monday morning.

Grimes County Sheriff’s Office Gonzalez allegedly stabbed A man and a woman at the mobile home park behind Shiro Market on Sunday evening.

Both victims suffered serious injuries and were taken to Houston for treatment. Their current status was not disclosed.

The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office initially issued a warning urging the public not to approach Gonzalez, who was considered armed and dangerous.

The investigation is ongoing and Gonzalez is expected to face multiple charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
