Analysis of Green Bay’s Week 11 Win over the Bears

There’s no real reason why the Green Bay Packers deserved to win their Week 11 matchup against the Chicago Bears, but they still came away with a blowout loss. 20-19 victory, They finished 11th in a row against their rivals from Illinois. Green Bay’s victory was more lucky than good, as they got their seventh win of the season thanks to a blocked goal in the last second.

Matt LaFleur’s coaching, like the play on both sides of the ball, put this team in a lot of tough situations on Sunday. The offense failed to string together multiple positive plays, and the defense allowed Chicago’s offense to score the most points in the last four games.

Attack

Jordan Love wasn’t asked to do much, only attempting 17 passes, but he was effective, connecting on 13 passes for 261 yards and a score to Jayden Reed. Love led to a costly end zone interception, negating a potential touchdown that could have made this play much easier.

Josh Jacobs had a busy day, racking up 134 total yards on 22 touches and finding the end zone on a short carry. The team rushed for 106 total yards, of which Love accounted for 18 yards; he also rushed for a touchdown in the game.

Christian Watson had a career-best 150 receiving yards on four receptions, showcasing his game-breaking vertical threat. Watson and Love connected on a 60-yard scoring pass, while he and Jacobs were tied for the team lead in receptions with four.
