Temple Police are investigating a traffic accident that left one person dead

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) – The Temple Police Department is investigating a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle that resulted in one death.

At approximately 5:11 a.m. on Nov. 18, officers were dispatched to the 5900 block of N. General Bruce Dr. for a traffic accident.

Officers discovered a vehicle exiting I35 at exit 304 striking a pedestrian walking on the exit ramp.

Police stated that the driver remained at the scene of the accident. Magistrate Judge Larry Wilkey pronounced one person dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported. The Temple Police Department Traffic Reconstruction Unit will be on scene for several hours investigating this crash.

This case is currently under investigation.
