A woman died in a motor vehicle crash involving a school bus in Walpole, New Hampshire, on Wednesday, authorities said.

At 3:13 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle crash in the area of ​​Connector Road on Route 12 in Walpole. According to the statement made by the ministry.

The initial investigation revealed that a 2006 Saab 9-3 was traveling southbound when it crossed the yellow center line and struck a 2017 Chevrolet Collins school bus traveling northbound, the statement said.

The Saab’s driver, Dietrich Kern Praska, 22, of Marlborough, New Hampshire, died at the scene, police said.

The bus, owned by the Fall Mountain School District, was operated by 65-year-old Marie Robbins of Alstead, New Hampshire, the department said. Robbins was airlifted to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

The two students on the bus were taken to Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, New Hampshire, and Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vermont, for “minor injuries,” according to the statement.

Authorities said that the conditions of the injured were unknown and the cause of the accident was being investigated.
