Trueno: Hip Hop and Career Triumphs

Trueno is still buzzing after winning the Best Urban Fusion/Performance category for his song “Tranky Funky.” It’s a huge achievement for the star, who says this makes him the first Argentinian rap artist to win a Latin Grammy since Sindicato Argentino del Hip-Hop won in 2001.

“We are continuing this history,” he says. “I feel the weight of Argentina on my back and I’m very happy to be a part of this journey.”

Eladio Carrión: Fatherhood and Family

During the awards ceremony, Eladio Carrión shared a sweet moment with his mother. He serenaded her with the song “Mama’s Boy” after walking the red carpet with him. “I’m so happy he’s here with me,” Carriión said enthusiastically. While he inspired his last album, it is his twin sons, the new generation Carrións, who also inspire the next project.

“What inspires me is my children,” he says. “They are the greatest source of motivation and inspiration. I work hard and have done so much more than I ever thought I could when I had them. “I want to give my fans an album they will enjoy.”
