Third victim dead in random stabbing in Manhattan: NYPD

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Third victim of an incident random stabbing spree He died Monday morning in Manhattan, according to the NYPD.

The victim, a 36-year-old woman, was stabbed in the chest and left arm near East 42nd Street and First Avenue, police said. He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries.

The other two victims, a 36-year-old construction worker and a 68-year-old fishing man, died early Monday from multiple stab wounds to the abdomen, according to the NYPD.

Police said the 36-year-old was identified as Angel Lata Landi of Peekskill. Landi’s was located at 444 West 19th Street.

Police said the 68-year-old was located at 530 East 30th Street.

The suspect, who was later identified Ramón Rivera(51) was detained. According to sources, Riverwa was a homeless, convicted commercial burglar who was recently released from Rikers.

Rivera was charged with three counts of first-degree murder.
