NFL Week 12 Survivors Pool Picks (Broncos, Commanders Top Picks)

NFL Week 12 Survivors Pool Picks (Broncos, Commanders Top Picks)

Week 12 of the NFL season (two-thirds of the way through the regular season) is upon us, which means it’s time for another round of Survivor Draft!

I’m sure your team options are limited if you’ve made it through 11 weeks of the season, so the SI Betting team tries to share multiple predictions each week to help you decide.

Here’s how we fared last Sunday.

The SI Betting team had a good run in Week 11 as the Los Angeles Rams stopped Drake Maye and the New England Patriots late in the fourth quarter and the Miami Dolphins edged the Las Vegas Raiders.

Things continue to heat up in Week 12, with both the Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Commanders favored by double digits.

Should Survivor players target one of these teams?

That’s where our team leans this week.

Washington Commanders

The ultimate sweet spot for Jayden Daniels and the 7-4 Commanders is Sunday’s home game against Dallas.

The Cowboys lost Dak Prescott this season and in the two games they played without him, they scored just six points and went 0-2.

Washington lost in a two-game series and to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11, dropping them to seventh place in the NFC playoff standings.

Despite this, I think this is a return point for the offense. Dallas is allowing 4.7 yards per carry on the season, and Daniels should be able to rely on Austin Ekeler and Brian Robinson Jr. early and often this season.

Washington may be back to earth for a while after a fast start, but it still has a path to the postseason. With Dallas’ season almost over, play it safe and support the Commanders at home this week. -Peter Dewey

Denver Broncos

If you’re still available, now is the time to use the Denver Broncos. This is a game between arguably the worst offense in the NFL and the best offense.

The Raiders rank last in the NFL in EPA per play and 29th in yards (4.7), and now they face a Broncos defense that ranks third in opponent EPA per play and first in opponent yards (4.6). Barring Bo Nix and the Denver offense being an absolute blast, the Broncos will crush the Raiders. – Iain MacMillan
