KUALA LUMPUR – A Malaysian court acquitted former finance minister Daim Zainuddin of failing to declare his assets a week after his death.

Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court judge Azura Alwi granted the acquittal under Article 254(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure after the prosecution said they did not want to pursue the case.
