Wichita man found guilty of multiple sex-related charges

FORT WORTH, Texas. (KSWO) – Wichita Falls businessman Anthony Patterson was found guilty of multiple sex-related charges.

After Judge Meredith Kennedy read the verdict, the penalty phase began.

Patterson was found guilty of:

Trafficking of a person.
Three counts of indecency by exposure
A child performs sexually once and is not guilty of continued trafficking.
Two other charges related to trafficking in a person.
Two sexual performances by a child.
Three studies that harmed children.

This afternoon, the trial continued with the sentencing phase, where the state and defense called character witnesses to the stand. They included Patterson’s mother, sister and brother-in-law, a former YMCA employee. And the mother of one of Patterson’s “Littles,” who was herself part of her older brother’s older sister.

The jury was released after these statements and the penalty phase will continue tomorrow, November 20.
