Motohaus has launched the VLF Tennis electric scooter in India at a price of Rs 1.30 lakh, ex-showroom. The Tennis is sold globally and in India, the scooter is targeted at women looking for a stylish, lightweight electric scooter. Designed in Italy and known as Velocifero, the Tennis falls into a segment dominated by Bajaj, Ather and TVS, among others.

VLF Tennis electric scooter – What is it?

The VLF Tennis will be assembled in Kholapur by KAW, the same brand that also assembles and sells Brixton motorcycles. India. The scooter will be sold alongside the recently launched Brixton motorcycles at retail outlets known as Motohaus.

VLF Tennis has a classic Italian design and is compact. The scooter features telescopic front suspension, a unique cantilever rear suspension hidden under the floorboard, an LCD instrument console, LED lights, 12-inch wheels, disc brakes at both ends and more.

VLF Tennis electric scooter – Battery specifications and competition

The Tennis has a removable 2.5kWh battery and offers a range of 130km with a hub-driven motor. The scooter has three driving modes: Eco, City and Sport. Tennis’ top speed is 65 km/h and its battery can be fully charged in 3 hours with a 720-watt charger.

The new VLF Tennis electric scooter will compete with ATher 450S, Bajaj Chetak, Ola S1 series and TVS iQube. Sunday.
