2 people arrested, 1 person wanted while  thousand was stolen from Waynesboro auto store

WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Police have arrested two suspects and are searching for another suspect in connection with the theft of over $28,000 from an auto shop.

Police said multiple items, including firearms, a golf cart, tools, cash and a vehicle, were stolen from Andy’s Auto & Diesel, located at 248 E Sixth Street, Monday morning.

As a result of the investigation and multiple search warrant services, two vehicles, a golf cart, three firearms and numerous stolen items were seized. Police, Jamie McNair Jr. and said Damari Crawford was arrested on a theft charge and that multiple other charges were pending.

According to authorities, Jayven Ward is wanted for burglary in connection with this case.

The Burke County Sheriff’s Office assisted in serving our search warrant, which was served on Grays Grove Church Road.

The following items were stolen:

• $28,000 Cash

• 2008 ClubCar Golf Cart (Picture)

• Snap-on Zeus Browser

• Purple Bicycle

• Mossberg 12 gauge Pump Action Shotgun

• Various Additional Tools
