Woman arrested after man injured in two-car collision in Herefordshire

As a result of the collision of two cars, one person was seriously injured and taken to the hospital, while a woman was detained.

The vehicles collided at around 09:20 GMT on Tuesday while traveling in opposite directions along the A49 Dinmore Hill between Hereford and Leominster.

The driver of one of the vehicles, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with what police described as “serious and potentially life-changing injuries.”

The other driver, a 28-year-old woman, was treated for minor injuries and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
