Car crashes into semi in Dodge County crash; 1 injured, arrested for OWI

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. – 23 years old Milwaukee One person was seriously injured as a result of the accident Dodge County On Tuesday, November 19th. A passenger car and a truck were involved in the accident.

The incident occurred around 17:00 in Rubicon Town.

Initial investigation indicates a 2021 Infinity passenger car was traveling northbound on Goodland Road and failed to stop at the stop sign at County Road N.

The vehicle was struck by a 2024 Western Star semi traveling westbound on County Road N.

The vehicle was pushed into the north ditch where both vehicles came to rest.

The driver of the Infinity is a 23-year-old man. MilwaukeeHe was taken out of the vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries. He was taken from the scene by Hartford Paramedics and later flown to Froedtert Hospital by Flight For Life. wauwatosa.

The driver of the Infinity was arrested for driving while impaired, a first offense.

The operator of the 2024 Western Star semi, a 35-year-old man from Wheeling, illinoisHe survived the accident uninjured and was later released from the scene.
