Fair Grove School District announces new superintendent

FAIR GROVE, Mo. (KY3) – Fair Grove School District, Dr. Announced Christian Overstreet as the next Superintendent. He will take over in July.

Dr. Overstreet has over 13 years of experience in education, from a dedicated teacher and coach to a highly effective administrator. He has served as high school principal for the last three years and as assistant principal and district athletics and activities director for seven years.

Dr. “As the new superintendent, I look forward to building on the strong foundation and vision for success that has been in place for many years,” Overstreet said. “This includes a commitment to academic and extracurricular excellence, strong community partnerships, and a commitment to supporting the incredible teachers, faculty, and staff of Fair Grove Schools.”

Dr. Overstreet holds a Doctorate in Educational Administration and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University; he also holds a Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Missouri State University. His professional journey and passion for excellence in education have made him a respected leader in the region and the broader education community.

Dr. Overstreet emphasized how his existing relationships in the region will shape his leadership.

Retired superintendent Mike Bell, Dr. He praised Overstreet’s qualities and impact on the region.

Dr. Overstreet thanked his community for their support.
