Bridgeport man arrested for murder in fatal car crash in December 2023

TRUMBULL, CT (WFSB) – A Bridgeport man has been arrested in connection with a fatal car crash that occurred in December 2023.

Christopher Lazo, 26, turned himself in Tuesday after an active arrest warrant was issued.

Lazo faces charges including negligent homicide by motor vehicle, failure to maintain proper lane and improper passing.

He was released from custody on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on December 23, 2024.
