Woman says dog walker filmed OnlyFans videos at home: ‘I felt violated’

BLANDFORD, Nova Scotia (CBC) – A woman in Canada says her dog walker made explicit videos for OnlyFans at her home without permission.

Homeowner Amanda Joudrey LeBlanc said interior footage of her home surfaced on OnlyFans after her dog walker posted videos of her performing sexual acts in her bathroom.

LeBlanc said she noticed the “very different” bathroom tiles in an OnlyFans ad she saw on social media.

He confirmed it was his home by paying a monthly subscription to the dog walker’s OnlyFans account to access the videos.

“I was so surprised by this… I’m still in shock, to be honest,” LeBlanc said.

She said she felt “violated” knowing her pet sitter was filming sexual content at the home.

“This person was paid to do a job on people’s homes that we trusted would be in them. We trust them to respect their homes, and we trust them to respect our privacy. “It kind of feels like a violation, for lack of a better term,” LeBlanc said.

The homeowner asked the pet sitter to remove the videos taken at his home, and the dog sitter agreed.

Nova Scotia police could not say whether a crime was committed because the incident was not reported to police.

Legal expert Wayne MacKay, professor emeritus at Dalhousie University, said the incident was probably not a criminal matter but raises privacy concerns.

“One of the terms they use in cases that talk about this kind of privacy is ‘invasion of seclusion.’ And your home is your private space, your ultimate private space, your castle. And so I think it’s clearly recognized as a special area,” MacKay said.

The problem in this case was the homeowner’s lack of consent, said Lisa Dawn Hamilton, a professor and human sexuality researcher at Mount Allison University.

“If this had been a movie shoot or a porn shoot for another company, there would have been contracts and money exchanged… and that clearly did not happen in this case,” Hamilton said.

The landlord said it was about a breach of trust.

“You are doing it. Everyone can do whatever they want. I don’t care. People need to make money. People like to do this. I treated them well. It’s up to you. “I don’t want to do this at home,” LeBlanc said.

The dog walker did not respond to interview requests.

An OnlyFans employee said they would investigate the situation if it was reported, but they couldn’t say whether any company policies were violated.
