Fayetteville woman arrested after allegedly biting off part of man’s nose during attack

WHITE OAK, NC (WECT) – A woman is in jail after allegedly biting off part of a man’s nose.

The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the White Oak Fire Department on Nov. 4 about a man and woman getting into a car. The man stated that the woman actively attacked him in her vehicle.

Deputies found the man with serious head and facial injuries and he was taken to the Cape Fear Valley in Fayetteville for treatment. He was released days later.

Sandra Davis, 53, of Fayetteville, was taken to Bladen County Hospital and reportedly released without any injuries.

After interviews with medical personnel and reviewing records, investigators identified the attacker as Sandra Davis, who partially bit off the man’s nose and stabbed him multiple times with a screwdriver.

Davis was charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, aggravated assault without malice, felony inflicting serious bodily injury and misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon.

Davis was denied bail and is currently in the Bladen County Detention Center.
