Thieves rob cannabis store during power outage

Detectives with the Redmond Police Department are investigating Wednesday after two thieves crashed into a local cannabis store and tried to rob it during an ongoing power outage, preventing store security cameras from recording them on video.

According to a post from the Redmond Washington Police Department about

When officers went to the marijuana store, they spoke with witnesses who said a white Sedan entered the store and two hooded men fled.

Police said the car the suspects used to crash into the store building was reported stolen.

Due to the ongoing power outage, the store’s security cameras were disabled.

The suspects were released after the incident.

The investigation continues.
