Teenager charged with stabbing, BB gun attack in Lancaster County

LANCASTER, Pa. — A 16-year-old has been charged in connection with a violent incident in Lancaster County last month; He allegedly stabbed a man after shooting him with an AR-style BB gun.

According to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office, the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 at a residence in the 6100 block of Division Highway. Authorities said the teen, identified as Martin, used a BB gun to shoot the man in the home.

The victim reportedly responded by pushing Martin to the ground, but the argument escalated further when Martin grabbed a five-and-a-half-inch knife and stabbed the man.

The victim’s condition after the stabbing was not disclosed and the prosecutor’s office did not provide information about the reason for the attack.

Details about the specific charges Martin faces have not been made public. The investigation is still ongoing.

Law enforcement had no further comment on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
