BREAKING NEWS: Woman in her 30s arrested after attack in Limerick city

A WOMAN in her 30s was arrested and brought to the Garda Station in Limerick following an attack in Limerick city last night.

Gardaí are investigating the attack, which occurred in the Thomondgate area at around 8pm.

Following the incident, a man in his 20s was brought to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of his injuries, which are not currently believed to be life-threatening.
