DCSO: Both lanes reopened on US 60 E after limited traffic flow due to crash

Update: The road reopened and the view became clear.

According to DCSO, a semi was traveling eastbound on US 60 and was about to turn right onto Fullenwilder when an SUV, also heading east, attempted to pass on the right while semi-turning. One person in the SUV was taken to hospital, and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Following a two-vehicle injury accident, traffic was reduced to one lane on US 60 East near the Daviess-Hancock County line at Fullenwider Road, according to a statement from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and expect delays. Many institutions are responding to the scene.
