Man convicted of sex trafficking in Washoe County found in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KOLO) – A man previously convicted of sex trafficking in Washoe County was found and arrested in Las Vegas.

Reginald Ellis was located after more than two months of extensive searches by the Regional Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit, the U.S. Marshals Service, and local law enforcement in Las Vegas.

The Washoe County District Attorney’s Office said Ellis was located and arrested Thursday morning in Las Vegas.

Ellis will be extradited to Washoe County within the next 30 days where he will be sentenced.

Ellis was previously convicted of sex trafficking in September..
