Presumed dead Rajasthan man revived while being taken away for cremation – Rajasthan News

In a strange case, a man in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district, presumed dead by doctors, came back to life while he was being taken away for cremation. As a result, the state government suspended the three doctors for gross negligence and ordered an investigation into the case.

On Thursday morning, Rohitash, a mentally challenged and specially-abled man living at Maa Sewa Sansthan NGO in Jhunjhunu, was taken to BDK Hospital for treatment in an unconscious state. He was taken to the Intensive Care Unit.

However, doctors declared Rohitash dead and took him to the morgue for autopsy.

According to the information obtained, doctors did not perform an autopsy, considering that the body was unclaimed, but only prepared a report and gave it to the police.

The body was kept in the freezer at the morgue for about four hours before police took it to the crematorium.

On the way to the crematorium, Rohitash suddenly woke up and stunned everyone.

On receiving information about the incident, state government officials sent the district Revenue Officer and a local police officer to investigate. CCTV cameras were also checked.

District Collector Ramavatar Meena treated the incident as serious negligence and sent the investigation report to the Rajasthan Health Department. Following this, the decision was taken to suspend the hospital’s Chief Medical Officer Sandeep Pachar and his two colleagues, Yogesh Jakhar and Navneet. Meel.

During the suspension period, Pachar was posted at Jaisalmer, Jakhar at Barmer and Meel at Jalore.

An investigation was launched against all three doctors.
