Colorado Springs police officer arrested for allegedly intimidating a victim and violating a protection order

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado Springs Police Department says CSPD Sergeant Glenn Eric Thomas was arrested Thursday.

CSPD said its domestic violence and adult sexual assault units learned Thomas was accused of inappropriate sexual contact with a minor on Oct. 16 in Woodland Park. They later learned that Thomas allegedly tried to intimidate the victim in question.

CSPD said detectives had probable cause to arrest Thomas for allegedly intimidating a victim and forbidding contact with an ex-partner in violation of a protective order.

Thomas was taken into custody on Thursday.

CSPD said Thomas had been with them since January 1993 and was assigned to the DUI unit. He has since been placed on paid administrative leave while the case is investigated.
