Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby victim of attempted burglary

Reality TV star Charlotte Crosby’s home was broken into.

Her fiancé, Jake Ankers, said on social media that they were the target of a burglary attempt while they were at home with their two-year-old daughter.

Durham Police confirmed a report of a burglary at an address in Houghton-le-Spring, Sunderland, at 19:00 GMT on Thursday.

The suspects left the scene before police arrived, but no one was injured and no items are believed to have been stolen, the agency spokesman said.

Crosby was a cast member of Geordie Shore and recently appeared in BBC Three’s show Charlotte in Sunderland.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
