Jonathan Majors’ Ex-Girlfriend Dropped in Assault and Defamation Case

Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari recants federal assault and slander case against him.



Jabbari filed his lawsuit in March, three months after a jury found the Creed actor guilty of assaulting and harassing Jabbari during a March 2023 incident in New York. In April, a judge ordered Major to attend domestic violence counseling.

In her defamation lawsuit, Grace Jabbari accused Jonathan Majors of trying to portray her as a “crazy liar” and not the victim of physical and emotional abuse.

He claimed that she had slandered him by continuing to deny the attack despite the guilty verdict. He claimed that Majors “participated in an exclusive interview.” ABC News “He further escalated his overt attack on Grace, claiming that Grace was lying about the entire pattern of abuse she described because he had ‘never laid hands on a woman.’”

Majors and Jabbari reportedly submitted a joint statement to the court through their lawyers on Thursday, November 21, confirming that the case was “dismissed with prejudice.”

Majors was arrested in March 2023 following an argument with Jabbari in the back of a vehicle. Judge Michael Gaffey ordered the actor to attend a domestic violence intervention program. Judge Gaffey also prohibited the majors from having any contact with Jabbari.
